BIO

Quito, Ecuador. 1984.

Brenda received a Master of Arts in Photography from the University of the Arts in London in 2016. Her artistic space challenges the human being of the 21st century and its complex relationship with technology, as well as the transformation of the self when navigating the digital space and the disconnection with the natural.

Brenda won the Troika Prize for Photography in London in 2016 with her multimedia installation “Interfaced Nature” with which she graduated from the MA Photography. In February 2017 she was selected to participate in the No Lugar Nodo Grant in Quito, where she did a long-term artist residency. In August 2018, she completed the LUMEN LONDON artist residency in Atina-Italy.
