Brenda completed a Master of the Arts Photography at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts in London in 2016.
Her artistic practice comprises performance, writing, video and photographic installation. She questions the human of the XXI century and its complex relationship with technology, as well as the transformation of the self when navigating the digital space.
“The digital self” does not connect with nature anymore and only sees it as a background on a screen.
Brenda won the Troika Photography Award in 2016 with her Master´s Degree show “Interfaced Nature”. In February of 2017, she was selected as one of the artists of the Node Grant: a nine-month artist residency in her hometown.
